A health services network in Texas is actively seeking a licensed Physician to join their growing Emergency Department in Brownsville to provide locum coverage.About the Opportunity:Schedule: 24-hour MD coverageHours: 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am (12-hour shifts)Setting: Freestanding Emergency DepartmentResponsibilities:Managing full-spectrum emergency cases (adult & pediatric)Leading trauma resuscitationsStabilizing stroke and critical care patientsSupervising and collaborating with APPsCoordinating with Consulting SpecialistsPerforming other duties, as needed Qualifications:Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of TexasBoard Certified or Board Eligible in ABEM/ABOEMActive ATLS and PALS certificationActive DEA registrationProficient in handling Trauma and Critical Care casesStrong clinical decision-making skillsEffective communication skillsDesired Skills:Experience in moderate-to-high volume Emergency Department settingsProficiency in Emergency Medicine procedures
