Diesel Mechanic Working Foreman

Wellsville, PASalary: $75,000–$80,000Aim is looking for an experienced Working Foreman to lead shop operations while staying hands-on with repairs and maintenance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring technicians, managing workflow, and tackling complex trailer and equipment repairs alongside the shop.We’re looking for a strong leader with trailer maintenance experience, welding skills, and the ability to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.What You'll DoLead and support maintenance technicians in daily shop operationsAssign work, prioritize repairs, and monitor productivity and qualityPerform hands-on repairs and assist with complex troubleshootingEnforce safety procedures, DOT compliance, and maintenance standardsTrain and mentor technicians to improve consistency and performanceCoordinate with operations, parts, and leadership to maximize equipment uptimeWhat We're Looking For5+ years of trailer maintenance experienceExperience working on flatbed and/or Conestoga trailersPrevious lead technician or foreman experience preferredStrong welding experience (MIG and stick required; aluminum welding preferred)Ability to diagnose and repair structural, suspension, brake, and body issuesUnderstanding of DOT and FMCSA regulationsCDL preferred, but not requiredWelding certifications are a plusEquipment ExperienceCandidates should have strong hands-on experience repairing:Conestoga trailersAluminum open-bed/flatbed trailersTractors (preferred but not required)Benefits For You & Your FamilyAnthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield coverage401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysCompany-paid life insuranceShort-term and long-term disability coverageAbout AimAim Transportation Solutions is a family-owned company that has been operating for more than 40 years.
