Job Overview
As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder. You will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans and support the clients in achieving their goals.
Duties
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients
- Collect data on client progress and behaviors
- Assist in developing and modifying treatment plans
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in therapy implementation
- Educate and train caregivers on implementing behavior management techniques
Qualifications
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles
- Familiarity with behavioral health terminology and practices
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of medical terminology related to patient care
- Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
