Sanford Health has made a major commitment to improving type 1 diabetes care with an established clinical research program Current efforts include general population screening for type 1 diabetes that is integrated into routine pediatric care in every Sanford clinic Additional intervention trials span from pre-symptomatic to long-established type 1 diabetes Join an experienced team of three physicians and one nurse practitioner in the section, working closely with an interdisciplinary team in-clinic social workers, dietitians, diabetes educators, behavioral health, and genetic counselors to support ongoing care of children with diabetes and other endocrine disorders More than 70 sub-specialists and hospitalists share in multidisciplinary patient care & education of pediatric residents Compensation Package Sanford Health offers a nationally competitive compensation plan with an additional physician benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 401K plan, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, CME allowance, allowed time away, malpractice insurance and tail coverage, and a relocation allowance.
