Senior IT Interface Analyst – Job DescriptionWork Location & ScheduleLocation: Remote with potential onsite support near Go-Live eventsClient Location: Troy, MichiganDuration: 32-week Contract-to-HireSchedule: Full-time, 40 hours/weekInterview Process:Initial 30-minute MS Teams interviewSecond-round panel interviewPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Interface Analyst to lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of healthcare integration solutions across Epic applications and ancillary systems. This role is responsible for managing complex interface environments, troubleshooting integration issues, collaborating with cross-functional IT and operational teams, and supporting enterprise healthcare workflows using Epic Bridges and Cloverleaf technologies.The ideal candidate will possess deep healthcare integration expertise, strong analytical and technical skills, and experience supporting large-scale Epic environments within healthcare organizations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the configuration and enhancement of interfaces for Epic applications and connected ancillary systems.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within Epic Bridges and Cloverleaf interface environments.Analyze, design, test, implement, and maintain healthcare integration solutions supporting operational and clinical workflows.Monitor and maintain interface environments to ensure optimal performance, stability, and system balancing.Serve as a consultant for integration architecture and technical solution planning.Collaborate with Application Analysts, operational departments, clinicians, vendors, and IT teams to identify workflow impacts and implement effective solutions.Coordinate planning and integration efforts across multiple IT teams and stakeholders.Facilitate workflow and dataflow sessions and manage resulting business and technical requirements.Support production environments by triaging, diagnosing, and resolving interface-related incidents and enhancement requests.Perform routine maintenance, testing activities, and system support functions.Provide occasional end-user training for Epic Bridges tools and related integration processes.Assist with estimating work effort and resource requirements for Statements of Work (SOWs).Support medium-to-complex integration initiatives within the HFHS HELIOS (Epic) environment.Mentor and provide leadership to junior Interface Analysts as needed.Required QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field required ORAdditional 5 years of relevant healthcare integration/application development experience in lieu of degree.ExperienceMinimum 7 years of applicable IT experience required.Minimum 5 years of healthcare IT experience preferred.Experience supporting healthcare system integrations and interface environments.Experience with at least two major system implementations.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.Technical SkillsExpertise with healthcare messaging standards including:HL7XMLANSI X12Strong experience with:Epic BridgesCloverleaf Interface Engine (v20.1 or higher)Knowledge of healthcare workflows, clinical systems, and medical terminology.Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support capabilities.Ability to articulate workflow and process improvements within healthcare systems.CertificationsEpic Bridges Certification required (must obtain within 6 months if not currently certified).Cloverleaf Certification required (must obtain within 6 months if not currently certified).Preferred QualificationsExperience with:Epic Tapestry Utilization Management and/or Case ManagementAppeals and Grievances workflowsMembership/Eligibility and Enrollment AdministrationProvider Management and Provider/Vendor ContractsEpic Business Intelligence Developer (BID)Epic Clarity SQL query developmentCogito and Caboodle Data ModelReporting Workbench reports and extractsMedicare line of business and payer regulationsIntegrated provider/payer shared-instance environmentsSQL and/or PL/SQL developmentSoft Skills & CompetenciesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaborativelyLeadership, mentoring, and coaching capabilitiesCustomer-focused mindset with commitment to service excellenceAdaptability and willingness to learn new technologiesRespect for diversity and inclusive teamwork practices
