Staff Process Development Engineer We are currently searching for a Staff Process Development Engineer who will pioneer the development of processes and equipment for all iterations of Dexcom sensors, from research concepts to high‑volume manufacturing machinery.
Key Responsibilities Research and select technologies used to inspect, measure and evaluate sensors
Write scripts and code for image translation and analysis
Apply knowledge of vision systems, inspection methods, lighting, camera options and equipment integration
Manage data acquisition methods from equipment into database or cloud storage
Develop requirements and specifications for new inspection equipment ensuring seamless transition into high‑volume manufacturing
Support clinical study design and execution for iterative design improvements
Qualifications and Experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate and prioritize activities to meet objectives on time and with high quality
Ability to evaluate and apply design tradeoffs and constraints for design optimization
History of running self‑directed projects, managing timelines, completing technology transfer, and executing projects in an R&D environment
Strategic thinking able to switch between high‑level strategy and task‑based execution and strong mentoring and leadership skills
Proficiency in data analysis methods and analysis software, including design of appropriately powered and creatively designed experiments
Effective technical writing skills – protocols, design of experiments (DOEs) and other technical reports
Ability to deal with ambiguity/uncertainty and willingness to try new and challenging things
Extensive knowledge of high reliability, high volume manufacturing processes and designs
Hands‑on work style in a fast‑paced environment
Education and Experience Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 8‑12 years related experience
Or a Master’s degree and 5‑7 years equivalent industry experience
Or a PhD and 2‑4 years experience

Salary: $128,600.00 – $214,400.00
