Job description-Role: Buyer / Planner (Supply chain)Location: Devens, MA or Wilmington MA (On-site)Duration: Long-term ContractExperience: 5+ YearsRole Overview:We are seeking an experienced Buyer / Planner to support procurement and supply chain operations. This role is approximately 75% purchasing (buyer) and 25% planning, with a focus on supplier management, order execution, and inventory planning to ensure timely material availability and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Place and manage purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy and timely executionMonitor and expedite orders to meet production and delivery timelinesMaintain PO confirmations, delivery schedules, and supplier communicationsManage MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) procurement activitiesWork with ERP/MRP systems for demand planning, inventory control, and procurement trackingCollaborate with internal teams to support production planning and material availabilityBuild and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliersIdentify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and supply chain performanceRequired Skills & Qualifications:Minimum 5+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or planningStrong experience in procurement, vendor management, and order managementHands-on experience with ERP/MRP systemsKnowledge of MRO procurement processesExcellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
