Legal Counsel Contractor
PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Legal Counsel performs legal transactional work under the supervision of the Senior Legal Counsel (Sales, Distribution, Operations) and will be responsible for handling a wide variety of commercial agreements, specifically for Red Bull‘s Sales, Distribution and Operations departments, with an emphasis on real estate leasing and general commercial contracting matters. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide accurate and responsive legal support for a range of commercial transactions, including structuring, drafting and negotiating various agreements for sales, leasing and procurement matters, as well as creating and updating templates for day-to-day operations. Advise various departments (primarily Sales, Distribution, and Operations) with respect to a full range of legal and business issues, with an emphasis on real estate matters. EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, & EDUCATION (IF APPLICABLE) REQUIRED · Juris Doctor (J.D.) · 3-5 years of experience practicing real estate transactional law, including at a law firm (AmLaw 200 or equivalent boutique preferred). · Current member in good standing, or registered in-house counsel, with the California Bar · Exceptional legal drafting, negotiation and analytical skills. DESIRED STRENGTHS · Substantial real estate experience. · Experience with drafting and negotiating sales/supplier agreements and facility vendor contracts. · Detail oriented. · Ability to work efficiently and with minimal supervision. · Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a high volume, fast-paced environment. · Ability to meet demanding deadlines without sacrificing the quality of work product. · Excellent project management skills, including organizational skills. · Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills. · Team player willing to work with other attorneys and staff at all levels. · Excellent problem-solving skills and legal judgmentCompensation: $90/hr to $100/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
