Program Manager
HR Mango is seeking a hands-on Program Manager for our client, an established helicopter manufacturer. This role will oversee the U.S. Army Flight School Next program and help build the company’s first Program Management Office (PMO).This opportunity suits a driven manufacturing professional ready for broader program ownership, direct executive exposure, and the chance to establish processes from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
Own program cost, quality, schedule, and performance.
Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, suppliers, and customer teams.
Maintain program schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk mitigation plans.
Build practical reporting processes and operating routines for the new PMO.Stay actively involved on the production floor to resolve issues and drive delivery.
Lead program reviews and communicate progress to customers and executive leadership.
Qualifications:
Proven program or project management experience in commercial manufacturing, such as automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial products.
Demonstrated success delivering physical products against cost, quality, and schedule targets.
A genuine interest in helicopters and rotary-wing aviation.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
A hands-on approach and ability to create structure in a developing organization.
Ability to work onsite daily in Torrance and travel up to 33%, including to Alabama.
