Patient Services Specialist for Dermatology (NW Portland)

The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist to join our Dermatology division in NW Portland. We are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. Responsibilities include welcoming and greeting patients, collecting co-pays, obtaining and completing insurance information, answering phones, scanning, updating records, and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of medical front office experience. Candidates must have the ability to multitask and be able to maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced office. Workdays will be Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm (40 hours a week). No weekend or evenings are required for this position! Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials: Level I - $18.33- $24.81 per hour. Level II - $20.17 - $27.29 per hour. Level III - $22.18 - $30.01 per hour. Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties. Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees. Requirements: 1 year of previous medical front office is preferred. Previous experience with EPIC preferred. Excellent phone and computer skills Excellent attendance and work ethic Positive attitude and desire to be a team player Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff and providers.
