We value teamwork, integrity, accountability, and creating opportunities for talented individuals who are excited to build a long-term career and grow with a great company.Position SummaryWe are seeking an Accountant / Accounting Generalist who is early in their accounting career (recent graduate or 1–2 years of experience) and eager to learn, contribute, and grow professionally. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role will be on-site 5x a week from 7:00a to 3:00p, have responsibility for full-cycle Accounts Receivable as one component of a broader accounting role, while gaining exposure to inventory, monthly close, expense analysis, reconciliations, journal entries, and other core accounting functions.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle Accounts Receivable activities, including customer invoicing, cash applications, payment posting, collections, reconciliations, and delinquency follow-upMaintain accurate accounting records and support resolution of billing, payment, and account discrepanciesCollaborate with Accounting, Sales, and Operations teams to support customer accounts and issue resolutionAssist with inventory-related accounting and reporting activitiesSupport monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processesPrepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and general accounting schedules at the direction of the Accounting Manager.Assist with expense tracking, reporting, and financial analysisContribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes, reporting, and internal controlsSupport additional accounting and finance projects as assignedQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred1–2 years of accounting experience, internship experience, or strong recent graduate backgroundInterest in building a long-term accounting career and growing with the organizationStrong attention to detail, organization, and time management skillsStrong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft OfficeERP/accounting software experience a plus (Famous software experience helpful but not required)Positive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learnWhy Join DLJ Produce?· Opportunity to grow into a well-rounded accounting position· Exposure to multiple aspects of accounting, operations, and the produce industry· Collaborative team environment with strong leadership and mentorship· Stable, respected company with a long history of success and excellence· A place where motivated professionals can learn, contribute, and build a career· Compensation: $60,000–$70,000 DOE, plus annual bonus opportunity, employer-paid health insurance, 401(k) match, profit sharing, and excellent benefits.
