Enterprise Testing LeadLocation: Will need to get to NYC a few days a week preferred local candidateIndustry: Financial ServicesType: 6 Month contract with extensionsJob Description:We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Testing Lead to oversee and drive the testing strategy across large-scale enterprise applications. This role requires deep expertise in end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, with a strong focus on quality assurance, automation, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, hands-on leader, and advocate for continuous improvement in testing practices.What they will be doing: Need to author, set up, and establish the entire testing methodology and SDLC processes for the testing team to follow. Then implement and hold hands through multiple iterations until the entire process sticks.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement enterprise-wide testing strategies aligned with business goals and SDLC best practices.Lead cross-functional testing teams across multiple projects and platforms.Establish and maintain testing standards, methodologies, and tools.Collaborate with development, DevOps, product, and business teams to ensure testing is embedded throughout the SDLC.Drive shift-left testing practices and early defect detection.Ensure traceability from requirements through to test cases and defect resolution.Champion test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.Define KPIs and metrics to measure testing effectiveness and product quality.Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards where applicable.
