Safety Advisor
As a Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing safety protocols, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations in a fast-paced plant setting. Your role is crucial in fostering a safety-conscious culture, preventing accidents, and continuously improving safety standards.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESRegulatory Compliance: Stay informed about and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations applicable to plant plants.Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the plant process and implement preventive measures.Safety Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for plant plant employees, including machine operators and maintenance personnel.Incident Investigation: Investigate and analyze workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.Emergency Response: Develop and maintain emergency response plans for the plant facility, ensuring all employees are trained and aware of proper procedures.Safety Audits: Conduct routine safety audits and inspections of the plant plant to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety standards.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Oversee the proper selection, use, and maintenance of PPE in the plant environment.Safety Communication: Establish effective communication channels to disseminate safety information, including safety meetings, bulletin boards, and digital communication platforms.Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with relevant departments to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety procedures and protocols.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities, including training sessions, audits, incidents, and corrective actions.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS5 years of experience in a safety role within a plant environment.In-depth knowledge of plant safety regulations and best practices.Strong communication and leadership skills.Familiarity with plant processes, machinery, and equipment.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
