Export Control Compliance Analyst (Contractor) We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Export Control Compliance Analyst (Contractor) to oversee and enhance our export compliance operations. This role is critical to ensuring strict adherence to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and internal company policies. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in export classification, SOP development, KPI monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize and enforce robust compliance procedures.Ensure company-wide compliance with Export Administration Regulations (EAR) by offering consistent and accurate regulatory interpretation and guidance.Develop, implement, and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve and streamline export compliance operations.Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of the compliance program.Conduct and oversee Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) determinations, maintaining accurate records and documentation.Support compliance assessments related to deemed exports, international travel, shipping, and foreign visitors.Act as a key resource for training, documentation, and process optimization efforts within the compliance framework.Partner closely with R&D, business units, marketing, and sales teams to ensure that technical data, software, and product classifications comply with applicable export control laws.Identify and implement automation opportunities and process enhancements to improve compliance efficiency and accuracy.Bachelors or Associates degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, International Trade, Law, or related discipline).Demonstrated experience in export compliance operations, ECCN classification, and regulatory analysis.Strong knowledge of Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and relevant U.S. export laws.Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).Experience using compliance tracking systems or tools.Proven success in developing SOPs, managing KPIs, and driving continuous improvement in compliance operations.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving regulatory environment.
