In this role, the successful candidate will be part of IT development, maintenance, & support work for systems used by Enterprise Operations and Legal Divisions. The work will involve a combination of building & enhancing in-house applications or working with vendor COTS/SaaS products & integrating them with infrastructure.Duties & Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement innovative solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced business environmentWork closely with team members and business partners to develop cutting edge technology solutions under tight deadlinesPredict effects of configuration changes; identify application bottlenecks and opportunities to optimize performanceSupport issue resolution and completion of ad-hoc requests in support of business partners within the I&CM divisionProvide production support that includes evaluate defects, investigate cause and come up with solutions to address defects or routines that requires manual maintenancePerform "what-if" analysis to simulate network stress test and survivabilityUnderstand Business Requirements, participate in Requirements Analysis, identify solutions by working with technical team and architects, design Applications based on System Requirements and Architecture, prototype if necessary, develop, unit test and deploy applicationBasic Requirements??Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related7+ yrs of Java/J2EE Development7+ yrs exp. in technical solution design, development and deployment of software solutions using Java J2EE, Spring Framework, JDBC and Rest API7+ yrs exp. with vendor COTS/SaaS solutionsExp. with relational databases including Sybase, SQL Server and/or DB2Proficient in Angular 7+Preferred Skills??Ability to think critically and act expeditiously to evaluate situations, make decisions and solve problemsStrong oral and written communication skills, and ability to work well with a variety of personalities.Demonstrated business acumen, problem solving skills, intellectual maturity, and relationship management skillsInterview Process??QUICK Phone Call Screen w/ Engineer @ Apex Systems
