CICS System ProgrammerRole: CICS System Programmer, experience 10+ years minimum Location: Remote EST Duration: 12+ months ContractResponsibilities:Installing, maintaining, and supporting CICS Transaction Server on z/OS mainframeStrong problem determination and resolution skills.In-depth technical knowledge of mainframe vendor tools and utilities.Disaster recovery and oncall rotationMaintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to the client.Required skills:10+ years of CICS system programming experience.Experience working in financial services or banking environment.Must have: CICS, MQ, Cobol, VSAM, AssemblerNice to have: CICSPlex/CPSM, CTG, Zeke (or equivalent job scheduler), Changeman (or equivalent Incident Management), DB2, IMS, Unix System ServicesStrong problem solving capabilities and communication skills (verbal and written)
