Our bouquet of Modernization Engineering Services cuts across Cloud, Data, Dynamics, Contact Centers, and around newer technologies like Generative AI, MS Fabric, and other modernization platforms.Role: Project Manager(Enterprise Integration- JDE, IBM AS/400 & Salesforce) Duration: Permanent Employment/Long term ContractLocation: Irvine, California(Hybrid- 2/3 Days/ Week in Office Setup)Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver complex enterprise integration projects involving boundary systems such as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE)IBM AS/400, and Salesforce. This role requires strong expertise in managing cross-functional teams, system integrations, and stakeholder communication across business and IT.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of integration projects involving ERP, legacy, and cloud systems Manage integration between JDE, AS400, Salesforce, and other boundary applications Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource planning Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors Ensure seamless data flow across systems using APIs, middleware, or batch integrations Drive requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment phases Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies proactively Monitor project progress, budget, and quality metrics Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and security standards Lead status reporting, steering committee meetings, and executive communication Technical Skills RequiredStrong understanding of: ERP systems (JDE) Legacy systems (AS400 / RPG-based systems) CRM platforms (Salesforce) Experience with integration tools/middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, REST/SOAP APIs) Knowledge of data migration, ETL processes, and system interfaces Familiarity with cloud platforms and hybrid architecture Project Management SkillsProven experience in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies Strong expertise in project planning, estimation, and budgeting Experience managing large, distributed teams Ability to handle multiple stakeholders across geographies Strong risk and issue management capabilities Preferred CertificationsPMP / PRINCE2 Certified Scrum Master (CSM) ITIL (good to have) Soft SkillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management Strong leadership and decision-making skills Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities Ability to work under pressure in critical project phases QualificationsBachelor's degree in IT, HR, Business, or related fieldMBA or HR specialization (preferred)PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications (strong advantage)Why join Sonata Software?
