The position partners closely with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to assess existing systems, define scalable solutions, and deliver high-quality applications.Required Qualifications:7+ years of professional experience in .NET application developmentDemonstrated experience taking ownership of existing applications and codebases, including maintenance and enhancementDeep expertise in C#, .NET, and Entity Framework for enterprise application developmentStrong experience designing and building RESTful APIs and working with GraphQLAdvanced experience with SQL Server, including developing stored procedures and implementing indexing strategiesProven experience utilizing GitHub Enterprise for source control and development workflowsDemonstrated experience leading development efforts and mentoring other developersStrong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiencesHighly Desired, not required:Experience migrating or modernizing legacy MVC applicationsExperience developing front-end solutions using React, Vite, and Node.jsExperience stabilizing and improving applications in active production environmentsExperience working in public sector or other highly visible, high-impact environmentsExperience supporting financial, tax, or property-related systemsDuties:Review existing MVC-based applications to identify migration and modernization requirementsDefine and recommend application architecture patterns and technical standardsBreak down technical initiatives into milestones, deliverables, and actionable development tasksProvide development estimates and support overall project planning effortsLead hands-on development of .NET applications and APIs (REST & GraphQL)Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server stored procedures, indexes, and queriesEnsure best practices for Entity Framework Code First and data access patternsDevelop and enhance front-end components using React and PrimeReactCollaborate with business analysts to translate functional requirements into technical designsPartner with development teams, business analysts, and project management to define scope and sequencingMentor developers through code reviews, guidance, and troubleshooting supportSupport development workflows and version control using GitHub EnterpriseCommunicate progress, risks, and technical recommendations to leadership
