Accounting Specialist - Remote

We have hiring Top Talents to add to our growing team of Technology Professionals.We are looking for a Accounting Specialist to add to our team.Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist to play a pivotal role in our finance operations. This role will perform a range of accounting tasks. This includes managing A/R and A/P, preparing financial reports, maintaining accounts, and assisting with audits.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable and receivable.Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reportsPrepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with accounting principles and standards.Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial informationAssist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.Prepare and review bank reconciliations.Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records and data entry.Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.Support the preparation and filing of tax returnsCollaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and initiatives.Perform other accounting duties and special projects as assigned.Required SkillsStrong understanding of accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High level of integrity and professionalism.EducationAssociates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.CPA certification or progress towards CPA preferred.2+ years of experience in accounting or related field4 Reasons To Join Volitiion IIT, Inc.
