Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience working with various hand and power tools. As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the production process by fabricating and assembling components to ensure high-quality output.
Responsibilities
Assemble products according to specifications and blueprints, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during the assembly process.
Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals and deadlines.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Assist in the movement of materials within the warehouse as needed, including operating forklifts if certified.
Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues during the assembly process and report major issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques is a plus.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints or assembly instructions.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
