Bakery Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to fill the role of Customer Service Representative at our local bakery. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced bakery environment. Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering their questions in a timely and professional manner. - Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately, handling customer transactions - Use basic math skills to handle cash and make change accurately. - Maintain a clean work area as mandated by South Dakota Department of Health - Use a commercial dishwasher - Mop floors Skills: - Basic math skills to handle cash and make change accurately. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Scheduled hours are: Friday 5am-12:15pm Saturday 5am-12:15pm Tuesday 5am-10am Wednesday 5am-10am Thursday 5am-10am Qualifications Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members Proven customer service experience in a fast-paced environment Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices Experience in the food service or retail industry, particularly in quick service settings Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $13.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
