Full-Time | Regular PositionPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Project Engineer to provide engineering and consulting services across a diverse portfolio of projects. This role involves managing field investigations, performing engineering analyses, preparing reports, and supporting design and construction efforts.The ideal candidate is a licensed professional with strong technical expertise, project management experience, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering & Project ExecutionPerform and/or lead geotechnical field investigations and engineering analysesDevelop calculations, recommendations, and design solutionsPrepare plans, specifications, and detailed engineering reportsReview construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans and specificationsResearch and resolve engineering and construction-related challengesProject ManagementPlan, schedule, and coordinate project phasesTrack project progress, budgets, and performance metricsPrepare proposals and cost estimates for projects of varying complexityRecommend adjustments to improve efficiency, cost, or timelinesQuality & SafetyFollow and enforce safety policies and proceduresParticipate in pre-task planning and report safety concernsMaintain and promote high-quality standards across all deliverablesConduct quality control reviews of reports and proposalsTechnical LeadershipEvaluate laboratory and field data for reporting and analysisProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staffSupervise field engineers, graduate engineers, and techniciansServe as a technical resource for project teamsClient & Business DevelopmentCommunicate directly with clients regarding project scope, progress, and findingsParticipate in business development, marketing, and client relationship effortsSupport proposal development and client presentationsQualificationsRequired:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil or Geotechnical preferred)5-8 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experienceActive Professional Engineer (PE) licenseValid driver's license with a clean driving recordStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsSkills:MANUFACTURING - QUALITY CONTROL
