Accounts Payable/ Financial Operations Analyst

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable – Financial Analyst for a 12+ month contract opportunity in Tampa, FL (Hybrid).Job Title: Accounts Payable – Financial AnalystLocation: Tampa, FL (Hybrid – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite)Duration: 12+ months contractKey Responsibilities:Support Accounts Payable operations across U.S. systems, processes, and workflowsMonitor and prevent duplicate payments; manage invoice approvals and ServiceNow task queuesCoordinate quarterly vendor mailing processes and ensure timely follow-upsProvide system, process, and troubleshooting support to internal and external AP usersCompile, analyze, and maintain AP performance metrics and operational dashboardsDeliver ad hoc reporting and analysis to support internal stakeholders and AP leadershipRequired Qualifications:Associate’s degree with 2–5 years of relevant financial or Accounts Payable experienceStrong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial controlsHands-on experience with Accounts Payable processes, including electronic invoicing and cash reconciliationExperience with PeopleSoft Financials and AP systemsIntermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to identify discrepancies, analyze data, and resolve issues effectivelyPreferred Qualifications:Experience with financial reportingProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointFamiliarity with electronic invoicing systems and AP workflowsIf you or someone in your network may be interested, please feel free to reach out to me directly.
