Please see below the details of this career opportunity and how it fits into our organization's success.The Sr, Analyst, Credit Risk is the subject matter expert regarding the monitoring and quality control processes within Credit Risk Administration. The role is accountable for duties including credit related operations across the enterprise, business analysis for both consumer and business lending, and monitoring potentially suspicious activity on customer accounts.Duties may include:Perform daily quality control reviews of Consumer Credit Card operations and/or Retail Credit OperationsEnhance quality control plans as processes change/adapt to the regulatory environment and as strategies are updated and introduced to the credit and servicing processesPrepare quality control exception reports to determine credit trends and potential issuesForecast and perform trend analysis identifying risks and opportunities by productInvestigate fraud scams and recovery of funds from these scamsUtilize analysis to train/raise awareness with frontline staff of trending scams and suspicious transaction activityThe Ideal Candidate for This Role:Technical Expertise:Sound knowledge of ACH operations, NACHA rules, and ACH credit risk managementStrong understanding of merchant acquiring, card processing, and ISO sponsorship modelsExperience with payment processor relationships and underwriting coordinationExpertise in credit analysis, financial statement review, and risk assessmentKnowledge of BSA/AML requirements, SAR filing procedures, and compliance frameworksAdvanced Excel proficiency for credit analysis and portfolio monitoringAnalytical & Communication Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with focus on payments riskExcellent business writing skills for credit memos, risk assessments, and compliance documentationAbility to manage multiple underwriting requests and monitoring activities simultaneouslyDetail-oriented with commitment to accuracy in credit decisioning and documentationInterpersonal Skills:Strong relationship-building with internal partners and third-party processorsExcellent oral and written communication at all organizational levelsCollaborative approach to cross-functional problem-solvingProven ability to work independently while managing diverse credit portfoliosKnowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field3-5+ years of previous experience in the banking or payments industry, with emphasis on ACH and/or merchant acquiring credit riskLending authority experience in payments or commercial creditKnowledge of ACH operations, merchant processing, and card network regulationsExperience with third-party processor relationshipsStrong understanding of BSA/AML compliance and SAR filing requirementsAdvanced analytical and risk assessment capabilitiesExperience developing and maintaining credit policies and procedures.Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.Compensation:Compensation range (base pay): $81,662.00-$134,741.00This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.Work Environment:It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week.
