A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.ResponsibilitiesMust be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all timesEstablish and maintain good communications and team work with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotelOffer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to the company's standards of excellence, professionalism and friendlinessProvide guests with menusGreet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areasAssign patrons to tables suitable for their needsInspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setupSpeak with patrons to ensure satisfaction with food and service, and to respond to complaintsReceive and record patrons' dining reservationsMaintain contact with Kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and customers to ensure that dining details are handled properly, and customers' concerns are addressedInform patrons of establishment specialties and featuresDirect patrons to waiting areas such as loungesOperate cash registers to accept payments for food and beverages as neededPrepare cash receipts after establishments closeSupervise and coordinate activities of dining room staff to ensure that patrons receive prompt and courteous serviceAssist in planning functions or other special events and servicesMaintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotelParticipate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requestedCore CompetenciesHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED)One (1) year related experience in hospitality or service industry preferredStrong communication skillsCollaborative spiritEthical ConductPositive AttitudeEye for DetailProblem solving abilitiesCompensation & BenefitsWe offer competitive wages and benefits while fostering a diverse and inclusive work experience.We thrive in being a diverse work environment.
