Overview Rehab Without Walls Neurorehabilitation is seeking a PRN - Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our growing team in San Antonio, TX. This is an opportunity to expand your OTA skillset while delivering high‑impact, one‑on‑one care in real‑life functional settings—including the home, workplace, and community. The ideal candidate has a strong background in neurological rehabilitation and hands‑on experience treating complex diagnoses such as CVA, TBI, SCI, and Parkinson’s disease. You’ll play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and improve quality of life through personalized, patient‑centered care. What you will love this role Flexible schedule created by you Pay per hour (not PPV) Strong work‑life balance—no weekend or holiday shifts Functional real‑world treatments in the community Co‑treats and collaboration with rehab team Supportive leaders and team approach to care Opportunities for growth and development Responsibilities Assisting the Occupational Therapist in the implementation of vocational and educational activities designed to restore and reinforce individuals’ task performance and promote their overall health and self‑sufficiency Designing and adapting equipment for working and living environments, including fabricating assistive devices to improve participation in the program and/or community Conducting community reintegration activities to assist individuals with their occupational therapy needs during physical activity Providing training to individuals and any others involved in their rehabilitation, and documenting results of the training Supporting individuals’ plan of treatment by documenting and reporting status changes to the rehabilitation specialist, clinical coordinator, attending physician, and other treatment team members as appropriate Other duties as assigned Qualifications Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and neuro‑rehabilitation techniques Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience assisting in the assessment and management of traumatic brain injury or related neurological conditions Current CPR certification Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques About Our Line Of Business Rehab Without Walls, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a revolutionary neurorehabilitation program that moves individuals outside the walls of institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment through a continuum of care.
