This healthcare system is dedicated to fostering excellence in patient care and professional growth making it an outstanding environment for medical professionals to thrive.Major duties of this position include but are not limited to:Provide quality service in our progressive, innovative health care system for the veteran inpatient and outpatient population.Deliver patient-centered pulmonary and critical care services in settings such as the MICU, pulmonary function laboratory, sleep lab, and bronchoscopy suiteTeach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, contributing to educational development programs affiliated with the University of New Mexico, School of Medicine.Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care, teaching, and research and be eligible for a faculty appointment in the Department of Medicine at the University of New MexicoVA offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
