This role provides hands-on experience with modern spatial technology, consulting delivery, and client-facing work.This role blends:Supporting ArcGIS configuration and delivery workflows across impactful client projectsBuilding and maintaining maps, applications, dashboards, and data collection toolsExecuting data cleanup, QA and QC, and schema management with strong attention to detailAssisting with automation, scripting, and system integrations as part of broader solutionsContributing to documentation, client deliverables, and internal coordination✅ Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with configuring and supporting GIS solutions using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS EnterpriseBuild and support ArcGIS Experience Builder applications, dashboards, and web mapsCreate and maintain Survey123 forms and field data collection workflowsPerform spatial data creation, digitizing, cleanup, QA and QC, and schema managementReview your own work carefully before handoff to ensure accuracy and completenessValidate data integrity, schema consistency, and workflow outputsSupport ETL workflows and data pipelines between GIS, databases, and enterprise systemsAssist with Power Automate workflows connecting GIS with Microsoft 365 and other business systemsSupport API-based integrations with guidance from senior team membersAssist with Python scripting for GIS, data processing, and workflow automationUse SQL queries to validate, troubleshoot, and analyze spatial and non-spatial dataParticipate in testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolutionPrepare documentation, maps, visuals, reports, and client deliverablesParticipate in discovery sessions, internal check-ins, and client workshopsProvide tier-one support for GIS, data, and application-related issuesUse modern productivity and AI-assisted tools to support research, documentation, and problem-solving while validating resultsWork across multiple projects and tasks while adapting to changing priorities in a fast-moving consulting environment✅ Required ExperienceRequired Qualifications:0 to 3 years of professional or academic experience in GIS, data, technology, IT, or related systemsHands-on experience with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS OnlineExperience using ArcGIS Experience Builder, ArcGIS Dashboards, and Survey123Understanding of spatial data formats, coordinate systems, and geoprocessing fundamentalsExperience or coursework involving digitizing, data cleanup, and QA and QCExposure to scripting, automation, or data workflowsAbility to stay organized and meet deadlinesInterest in spatial intelligence, solution delivery, and integrated technology solutionsExplain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences, verbally and in writingAbility to travel 20 to 30 percent for workshops, deployments, and client engagementPreferred Qualifications:Experience or coursework with Power Automate, Python, JavaScript, SQL, Arcade, ETL tools, data pipelines, or webhook-based integrationsExperience supporting REST services, APIs, or system-to-system integrationsExposure to ArcGIS Enterprise environmentsExperience supporting mobile GIS workflowsFamiliarity with Microsoft 365 tools and workflowsHands-on use of AI tools to support technical, analytical, or documentation tasksAwareness of basic IT or cybersecurity concepts such as access control, data protection, or secure integrationsInternship, capstone, or project experience with government, utilities, or infrastructure data✅ What We OfferAt Simply Spatial, we provide a supportive and innovative environment designed to help you succeed.
