Indiana University Health - Gastroenterologist - Community Practice
Indiana University Health is seeking a compassionate, board-certified or board-eligibleGastroenterologistto join our growing team of 8 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers in a successful and busycommunity practice at West Hospital in suburbanAvon ,Indiana . This role will include outpatient clinic with current inpatient and call coverage at IU West and Methodist Hospitals.
Position Highlights:
Full-time employment (Monday-Friday 8 am - 4:30 PM)
On-Call: 2-4 nights per month & 1:8 weekends
Team: 8 Physicians and 3 Advanced Providers
25% inpatient, 75% outpatient
Procedures include upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, enteroscopy, band ligation, ERCP/EUS (not required), capsule endoscopy, RFA & esophageal motility
Outpatient practice based in Avon with current inpatient and call coverage at IU West and Methodist Hospitals (Effective July 2026, inpatient coverage will ONLY be required at IU West.)
Qualifications:
Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
Fellowship training required in Gastroenterology
Interested in new graduates and experienced candidates
