JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products accurately and efficiently. This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains a clean and organized workspace, and follows all safety policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive and unload incoming shipments Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment Label, tag, and document inventory appropriately Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified) Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow company safety policies and OSHA regulations Assist with other general warehouse duties as assigned Work Environment Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and carrying Use of warehouse machinery and equipment Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to stand, bend, twist, and move for extended periods Basic math and reading skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification) Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) Experience using handheld scanners Key CompetenciesReliability and punctuality Strong work ethic Safety awareness Teamwork Organizational skills Dexter is driven by our core values committed to Safety, Quality and Integrity:Execute with Determination Be curious, work together, break new ground, find solutions, fulfill our commitments, surpass expectations!
