You will be joining a collaborative and experienced team that values ownership, accountability, and the ability to make a meaningful impact with every client interaction.What You’ll DoIn this role, you will operate as a highly independent Senior Tax Accountant, stepping into a fast-paced environment where your experience and judgment will have immediate impact. You will manage client engagements, navigate complex tax matters, and serve as a trusted resource both externally to clients and internally to the team. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of their work, thrives in a client-facing setting, and can contribute right away to both execution and overall team efficiency.Prepare and review complex business tax returns, including 1120s and 1065s Serve as a primary contact for clients, managing relationships and expectations Provide proactive tax guidance and identify planning opportunities Assist with compilations and reviews Review work prepared by junior staff and ensure accuracy and compliance Handle tax notices, audits, and client inquiries Support workflow management, especially during busy seasonWhat You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of public accounting experience CPA strongly preferred; EA considered for exceptional candidates Strong experience with business tax (1120s and 1065s required) Solid accounting knowledge and financial statement experience Exposure to compilations/reviews preferred Ability to manage client relationships independently Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsWhat We OfferMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance (Coverage begins on the first of the month following your start date.)Paid Parental Leave 401(k) Matching ProgramPre-Tax Commuter BenefitsPet InsuranceUnlimited Flexible Time Off 7 Company‑Paid HolidaysEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Preferred work arrangement is on-site; hybrid flexibility may be available based on experience and business needs.Base salary of $70,000-$80,000 plus discretionary bonus (exact base salary amount will be dependent on experience)Archer Lewis StoryArcher Lewis is a national accounting and advisory firm established in 2024 from local practice mergers, leveraging over 70 years of legacy.
