Project Manager - Dynamic Engineering

Responsibilities include project management, financial performance, loss prevention, budgeting, workload and staff balancing, preparation of technical proposals, monitoring of project budgets, staff supervision and scheduling of key projects.The Project Manager will maintain presence and leadership throughout the regions where we do business through involvement in civic, professional and business organizations. This is a leadership position that also includes mentoring and developing staff.Project Management in the areas of Land Development Plan Design, Stormwater Management Design, Water and Sanitary Sewer Design and Erosion and Sedimentation Control DesignManage team assignments and balance workload in a deadline driven environmentProvide vision and guidance to the firm in the area of Project ManagementDrive growth of the company’s business model and promote business developmentQuality ControlPermitting of federal, state and local regulatory agenciesProvide technical assistance to staff and clients in resolving problemsPrepare presentations to various land use related boards and jurisdictional agenciesBuilding and managing client relationships, program and project management, promoting and selling strategic alliancesPrepare proposalsGuide, manage and support the delivery of projects and programs to ensure quality, and on-schedule and on-budget completionFinancial management of projects including accounts receivableLead projects through hands-on project management and actively manage the project plan, deliverables, dependencies and outcome of assigned projects to ensure projects are on-schedule and on budgetClient management and overall satisfactionMentor and develop staffPerform other duties as assignedBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering7+ years’ experience in Civil Site Engineering (residential, institutional, industrial, and/or commercial site design and permitting experience)Professional Engineer (PE) registration required (or ability to obtain PE license within 1 year of employment)Valid driver’s licenseAbility to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicleFamiliar with AutoCAD Civil 3DKnowledge of Truck and Turning & Modeling softwareIn depth knowledge of the planning and zoning processesKnowledge of Hydrologic and Hydraulic Stormwater DesignProficient in design and drafting capabilitiesProficient grading and drainage design skillsUtility design experience including pump station and force mainsExperience dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionalsProficient in the use of available mapping websites for due diligence and site investigation purposesConstruction oversight experience for site workProficient in the use of the following design tools for site engineeringAutoCAD Civil3DHydrology Software i.e. ICPR and CascadeProficient in the use of Microsoft Software including Word, Excel, Outlook and ProjectProficient in the use of Bluebeam Revu and/or Adobe to prepare design document markupsExcellent written and oral communication skillsIndependent and critical thinking abilitiesSuperior organizational and delegation abilityAbility to work and lead in a team-oriented environment with a focus on staff development and mentoringClient management experienceAt Dynamic, we believe great careers are built through meaningful work, continuous growth, and strong relationships.
