Saw Operator
Job DescriptionJob Title: Saw Operator Pay: $18.00/hour Shift: 1st shift Location: Walkerton Hours 7:00am to 3:30pm during winter months and 6:00am to 2:30 during summer months Overview:We are looking for a high-caliber individual with fabrication experience to join our team as a Saw Operator. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in working with precise measurements. Note: Candidate must pass a Tape Measure Test to the 1/32"Duties & Responsibilities:Set up and adjust saw machines according to job specifications Set stops or guides to specified lengths for cutting Operate saw equipment, monitoring for accuracy, quality, and any defects Use measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.) to ensure precision to the 1/32" Assist in packing, labeling, and transporting finished pieces as needed Accurately complete all required job paperwork and documentation Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Requirements:Previous experience in a fabrication or manufacturing setting Must be able to read a tape measure to the 1/32" (test required) Familiarity with saw operation and basic machine setup Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Reliable attendance and good communication skills Ability to lift [e.g., up to 50 lbs] and stand for extended periods PlymouthMeet Your RecruiterJillian KeisterLocally-owned since 1986, Pro Resources is an employment services firm specializing in short-term, long-term and direct hire staffing in the Industrial, Clerical and Professional job markets.
