We're seeking a skilled and ambitious Industrial Maintenance Technician.ResponsibilitiesTroubleshooting, repairing, and performing scheduled maintenance on mechanical and electrical forklifts as well as other related material handling equipmentObserve all safety procedures, use required PPE equipmentAnalyze and diagnose equipment problems and breakdowns, recommending the correct service and repairs needed to resolve issuesMaintain and repair all industrial plant equipment and other equipment as required.Perform some of the installations and/or modifications to the plant's industrial equipment when required.Perform all welding and cutting work.Diagnose all types of mechanical problems.QualificationsEffective communication with customers, co-workers, and managementAbility to understand service and training manuals, including interpreting schematics and using electrical diagnostic instrumentsKeeps pace with industry innovations to make sound recommendations to customersSafely operates power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks, and overhead cranesExperience working with 110-480 volt systems (higher voltage background is a plus).DEP in Industrial Mechanics or equivalent a plus
