Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturer in Ayer, MA who is looking for additional Forklift Operator's on all shifts! This is a temp to hire position.Job Title:Forklift OperatorPay:1 shift $21/hr, 2 and 3 shift $22/hrSchedule: 1 shift 7am-3:30pm, 2nd Shift- 3:00pm to 11:30pm Monday through Friday3 shift 11pm – 7:30am Sunday - ThursdayJob Summary: Position has overall responsibility for all material handling and trailer loading/unloading at the facility. Roles & Responsibilities:Reliable and consistent attendance recordSafely operate a forklift in a food-grade manufacturing facility with respect for SOPs, GMPs and company property in the following ways:Certified forklift operatorPerform morning walk-around inspection of forklift and fill out and turn in daily inspection reportDaily battery maintenance/wateringWeekly cleaning of forklift(s)Accurately picking, staging and loading orders as instructed by E21Actively and aggressively pursue and be accountable for personal contribution to achieve the Warehousing goal of 600 pallet shipped per day between both warehouses.Organize a production schedule to construct a plan for product placement in warehouseMove product in warehouse to create necessary room using RF scannersFollowing proper stock rotation in both picking orders and when performing moves in warehouse - FIFOSupply production lines with raw materials as requested by work-orders and/or production personnelUnload inbound trucks of raw materials and verify, with shipper, quantities that are being put awayDe-palletize production lines in a timely manner and accurately put away materials from production lines using handled RF scannersWhen servicing production: Minimize line downtime on designated line in order to achieve OEE goal by making timely pickups, maintain acceptable level of overall OEE downtime as a result of forklift downtimeWhen completed with all tasks, actively assist other warehouse personnel complete their tasksHandle and stack product up to 50 poundsConduct product rework as neededPeriodically allocate, process, and sign for incoming paperwork and outbound orders in E21Be present to assist and participate in mandatory physical inventory as neededVerify and process transfer-trailer paperwork when necessaryBe available for periodic overtime or weekend work as neededConsistently do your part to maintain a neat, clean, and organized warehouseRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalencySpeaks English fluentlyForklift and Pallet Jack certificationMinimum of 1 year in warehousing or logisticsExperience with ERP system and RF Scanners is a plusIf you are interested in this position or others available, please apply with an updated resume.
