In this high-impact role, you’ll ensure the reliability, security, and performance of mission-critical Business and Engineering systems, including the Windchill (PLM) infrastructure, within a leading aerospace environment.This role is hybrid, with onsite collaboration 1 day a week in our East Aurora, NY location.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in East Aurora, NY, for a Senior Systems Administrator - Linux. The Senior Systems Administrator will oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Linux systems to ensure the operational efficiency and reliability of IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include providing technical support and troubleshooting, managing network infrastructures, optimizing system performance, ensuring security protocols, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions.QualificationsProficiency in System Administration, with expertise in configuring and maintaining Linux systemsStrong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve system or network issuesExperience in Network Administration, including managing network configurations and ensuring network securitySolid background in Information Technology, with a focus on systems performance and operational efficiencyExperience in scripting or automation tools for system processes is a plusStrong problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaborativelyBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferredRelevant certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, or similar are an advantage
