Infrastructure Systems Engineer

Location: Plano, TX area (onsite, with local travel between sites) Pay Rate: Up to $40/hr W2, depending on experience Conversion Salary: $75K to $80K Engagement Type: Short term Contract-to-Hire with potential to convert based on performance Schedule: Full-time Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, ongoing basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future Background: Must pass a criminal background check fingerprint based upon hire About the Role: GTS is hiring Infrastructure Systems Engineer for one of our education public sector clients. Required: 5+ years as a Systems Administrator/Engineer supporting complex, multi-server environments 5+ years hands-on with VMware virtualization technologies Strong Windows Server administration and support experience Strong Active Directory administration and support experience Experience with enterprise SAN (storage area network) administration Experience with backup and recovery systems Strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred: Microsoft 365 administration experience Google Workspace administration experience Azure migration or administration exposure ITIL process familiarity (Incident, Change, Problem management) Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or relevant certifications GTS Technology Solutions, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
