Televic Rail US is a global leader in rail communication and passenger information systems, delivering innovative technology solutions that support safer, smarter, and more connected transportation networks worldwide.As our North American operations continue to grow, we are seeking an East Coast–based Technical Bid Manager to lead complex customer pursuits and develop winning technical and commercial solutions for major rail projects across the U.S. and internationally.Position SummaryThe Technical Bid Manager plays a critical role in leading strategic bids from initial customer inquiry through proposal development and contract award.This role serves as the bridge between customers and internal teams — translating customer requirements into clear, feasible, and competitive technical solutions while coordinating across sales, engineering, product management, and project teams.The ideal candidate combines strong technical and systems thinking with excellent communication, organizational, and customer-facing skills.Key ResponsibilitiesLead complex technical and commercial bids from initial inquiry through contract awardAnalyze customer requirements, specifications, and RFP documentationDevelop clear, practical, and competitive technical solution conceptsCoordinate closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Project Management teamsServe as the primary technical point of contact and coordination during the bid phaseIdentify technical, operational, and commercial risks and ensure they are addressed appropriatelySupport pricing strategy and proposal development activitiesPresent and explain solution concepts to customers and stakeholdersEnsure proposals are accurate, complete, and aligned with customer expectations and company capabilitiesManage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentSupport continuous improvement of bid processes, documentation, and internal coordinationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field preferredEquivalent combination of education and relevant technical experience will also be consideredExperience working in technical, systems, engineering, project management, solutions, or customer-facing technical rolesStrong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage complex initiativesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesComfortable interacting directly with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities effectivelyExperience with transportation, rail, communications systems, software, electronics, infrastructure, or other complex technical environments is a plusExperience with proposal management, bids, RFPs, systems integration, or technical solution development is preferredWhy Join Televic Rail?Opportunity to work on large-scale, technically complex transportation projectsCollaborative international environment with long-term growth opportunitiesExposure to innovative communication and passenger information technologiesAbility to make a meaningful impact within a growing North American organizationCompetitive compensation and benefits packageHybrid work flexibility
