This is a senior appointment within a specialist digital asset audit and assurance practice and is well suited to individuals already operating at a high level in the sector. The firm supports digital asset and crypto-native clients across financial audit, assurance, proof of reserves, reporting frameworks and verification work, as institutional expectations around transparency, reporting quality and reporting discipline continue to strengthen. Following recent investment, the business is building out its US capability as part of a broader international platform. This appointment forms part of that expansion and offers the opportunity to join at an important stage in the development of the practice. The Appointment This is a strong opportunity for senior audit and assurance professionals with direct experience leading or overseeing financial audit and assurance engagements for digital asset, cryptocurrency or blockchain-focused clients within a professional services environment. It is especially likely to resonate with individuals who want to combine high-quality client delivery with the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a specialist US practice in a part of the market that is becoming more visible, more technically demanding and more institutionally relevant. Role Scope Lead delivery of financial audit and assurance engagements across digital asset and crypto-native clients Oversee work across US GAAP financial statements, disclosures, proof of reserves and digital asset reporting frameworks Support the continued development of digital asset audit and assurance methodologies and client delivery standards Manage senior client relationships across complex digital asset engagements Contribute to the growth of the US practice in partnership with senior leadership Role Requirements CPA qualification Current or recent experience as Audit Director, Assurance Director, Principal, Director of Audit, Director of Assurance or equivalent Experience gained within a Big Four, national or established mid-tier audit firm, or a recognised specialist digital asset assurance practice Direct experience delivering, managing and overseeing financial audit and assurance engagements for digital asset, cryptocurrency or blockchain-focused clients Strong grounding in external audit, financial statements, disclosures and US GAAP reporting A clear specialism in financial audit and assurance Experience operating within dedicated digital asset audit, digital asset assurance or crypto-focused audit teams The Opportunity This appointment offers the chance to join a specialist platform at an important stage of US expansion, with genuine scope to influence client delivery quality, technical standards and practice development.
