Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant for our client, a boutique personal injury and commercial law firm serving individuals, families, and businesses throughout Philadelphia, including all surrounding counties and New Jersey. They are looking for a talented professional to join their team and support attorneys handling complex Catastrophic Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice matters. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated and meaningful cases in a professional, collaborative, and supportive firm environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing litigation files, supporting trial preparation, and helping build strong cases for clients.This is an in-person position with the option to work from either the Philadelphia office or suburban Philadelphia office, with some flexibility for remote work.Responsibilities:Assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case inception through trialDraft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondenceOrganize, review, and summarize extensive medical records and case documentsCoordinate with medical experts, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnelManage litigation calendars, deadlines, depositions, hearings, and trial preparationPrepare exhibits, trial binders, and other materials for hearings, mediations, and trialMaintain and organize electronic and physical case filesConduct legal and factual research related to medical malpractice and catastrophic injury mattersCommunicate professionally with clients and provide ongoing case supportUtilize document management and case management systems to maintain accurate recordsRequired Qualifications:· HS Diploma/GED· Previous experience as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant specifically with medical malpractice and or catastrophic personal injury cases· Familiarity with medical malpractice and or personal injury legal research· Experience with data entry and document management systems· Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)· Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information· Strong knowledge of project management principlesPreferred Qualifications:· Associate degree in paralegal studies or related field or equivalent experience· Knowledge of Clio Legal softwareA successful candidate in this role will be able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You will need to have attention to detail and strong organizational skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills and along with the ability to work well with others.
