As a Housing Resource Center Manager in The Dalles, you will plan, oversee and coordinate activities of programs designed to assist individuals and families with a variety of housing needs. REQUIREMENTS
*Two years of college level coursework in business, social science or public administration.
*Two years of progressively responsible experience in grant management, project development, direct client service and program development, real estate knowledge, or Community Land Trusts.
*Two years minimum experience using Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as online accounting software systems.
*Must possess or ability to obtain HUD Counselor Certification within 6 months of hire.

*Any equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
JOB DUTIES
*Oversee and coordinate the activities of a specially funded and or mandated programs including but not limited to Section 8 Homeownership, Oregon Home Ownership Assistance Programs, Community Development Block Grant Home Repair Programs, and various state programs promoting home ownership.
*Supervise Housing Center team members and monitor progress, directing the Housing Center grants through completion, making day-to-day decisions and taking actions which keep the grants on track.
*Recommend and assist in the implementation of goals and objectives; establish schedules and methods for providing assigned program services; implement policies and procedures.
*Promote and coordinate specific activities within all assigned programs; prepare marketing materials and conduct continuous recruiting for program participants; respond to questions and inquiries regarding program guidelines and regulations.
*Maintain records and develop reports concerning program effectiveness; maintain records for program enrollment and participant attendance.
*Attend and participate in professional group meetings; stay abreast of new trends within the area of assignment. Make presentations on programs when needed.
HOURS
*Monday through Thursday
*8am-5:00pm
PAY
$39.28 per hour plus 3% additional pay for employees.
PRIORITY OF SERVICE
