We are building a durable care platform designed to perform in constrained healthcare environments and to lead the shift toward accountable, value-based care.Role Description Zócalo Health is hiring a Senior Associate of Strategic Finance to join our team and partner closely with executive leadership to drive financial planning, operational rigor, and strategic decision-making across the company. This role sits at the intersection of FP&A, business strategy, and operational finance, and will leverage data to enhance decision-making, help guide critical strategic decisions, evaluate new opportunities, and scale the business.The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical foundation from investment banking, venture capital, private equity or consulting, combined with experience operating within a high-growth technology company. This person will work cross-functionally with leaders across product, engineering, and operational teams. We are looking for someone who is driven, intellectually curious, and motivated to push the business forward - someone who thrives in ambiguity and proactively identifies opportunities to create impact.This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Finance.The Senior Associate will contribute in the following ways:Financial Planning & ForecastingManage and continuously improve the month end close and forecasting processMaintain and evolve the Company's operating model across revenue, expenses, headcount, and cashDevelop scenario models to support planning, investment decisions and board discussionsBusiness Performance & Executive InsightsProvide leadership with clear insights into Company performance and key driversLead financial budget vs. actual performance reviews with executive team membersTranslate financial results into actionable insights for the executive leadership teamDevelop executive-ready reporting analysis that track the Company's most important KPIsStrategic Analysis & Company Growth InitiativesSupport leadership in evaluating the Company's most important strategic decisionsPartner with the executive team to evaluate new products, partnerships, and growth initiativesQualifications5+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in investment banking, venture capital/private equity, or consulting, and 2+ years in a healthcare startup focused on FP&A or Strategic FinanceExperience operating in a high-growth, early-stage company environmentBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceAdvanced proficiency in ExcelStrong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to partner with executive leadershipOwnership mindset with a focus on building, improving, and scaling systems and processesWhat you can expect from Zócalo HealthCompetitive salary: $120 - $145K (depending on experience)Equity compensation packageComprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision 401kFlexible PTO policy - take the time you need to recharge$1,000 home office stipendWe provide the equipment needed for this role.Opportunity for rapid career progression with plenty of room for personal growth.You must be authorized to work in the United States.
