The company is entering a significant growth phase and seeks a finance executive capable of building institutional-grade infrastructure from the ground up.The Vice President of Finance will serve as the senior financial executive of the operating company, assuming full responsibility for accounting, reporting, compensation systems, budgeting, cash flow management, and post-acquisition integration. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role, ideally suited for a candidate with a strong accounting foundation and prior experience in transaction-driven, service-based businesses. The position requires not only technical expertise but also the ability to operate independently, implement scalable processes, and maintain precision in a lean environment. As the business scales, this role will be central to ensuring financial discipline, reporting integrity, and investor readiness.Key Responsibilities:Financial Operations & ReportingCompensation & Commission ManagementBudgeting, Forecasting & Cash ManagementSystems Implementation & Acquisition IntegrationCompliance & Financial GovernanceTeam Development & Vendor OversightRequirements Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 8 years in finance and accounting, with at least 2-4 years in a senior leadership roleProven track record transitioning from cash to accrual accountingDirect experience integrating acquisitions into a centralized financial operationIndustry Background: Preference for experience in real estate services or similarly structured, transaction-heavy, service-oriented businessTechnical Skills:Comprehensive understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standardsProficiency in KPI development and financial performance analysisExperience managing commission-based compensation structuresAdvanced modeling, forecasting, and Excel capabilitiesFamiliarity with systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, Sage Intacct, Gusto, Spiff, and related platformsCredentials: CPA preferred but not requiredCompensation may be higher for a candidate with the requisite experience and qualifications.
