Steel Products Working Foreman - Zelienople

Position: Steel Products Working Foreman Location: Zelienople, PA Type: Temp to Hire Pay: Starting at $28/based on experience Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (daily overtime available) Benefits (after probationary period): 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision (employee pays only co-pays), 10 paid holidays, 2 weeks of vacation after one year, 401(k) with company match up to 4% Position Overview: This position reports directly to the Plant Manager and is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the manufacturing facility and supporting overall production efforts. Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing employee work schedules based on production needs Act as a liaison between production staff and supervision Support maintenance activities as needed Assist with onboarding and training of new employees Work closely with welders, including training new hires and helping non-certified welders achieve certification Partner with the Quality Control Manager to ensure consistent product quality Help develop and implement shop floor production standards, continuously improving processes and equipment Collaborate with management on annual budgeting for operational improvements Perform routine quality checks on the shop floor Qualifications: High school diploma and completion of a welding trade school program Strong organizational and scheduling skills Experience with carbon steel MIG welding Ability to lift to 50 pounds Excellent communication skills In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably in steel fabrication Ability to read and interpret blueprints We are an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
