It is important to note that these positions may require a 2nd or 3rd shift schedule based on the business's needs.Position Responsibilities:Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasksComposite drilling and bondingTooling preparationMachine set up and operationOverhead crane operationBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):1+ years of experience in manufacturing1+ years of experience with composite layup1+ years of experience in composite fabrication processesAbility to lift up to 35 poundsAbility to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling and liftingPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience1+ years of experience setting up and operating lay-up and composite machinesExperience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools)Experience managing or working with safety, quality, and manufacturing performance dataExperience with Contoured Tape Layup MachineExperience with Radius Filler operationsExperience with AFGM processesExperience with Quality operationsDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies .Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
