Academy Head Soccer Coach

Miami FC Academy is seeking qualified, motivated, and professional coaches to join our staff for the 2026/2027 season in South Florida.We are looking for individuals who are passionate about player development, aligned with a professional environment, and committed to building a competitive, positive culture that reflects the Miami FC pathway.Key ResponsibilitiesLead team training sessions (3–4x per week during youth season: May–August)Plan and manage a year-round training and competition calendarAttend and coach all friendlies, tournaments, and league matchesProvide structured and ongoing player feedbackBuild and maintain a competitive, development-focused environmentManage team and parent communication professionally and consistentlyCollaborate with technical staff and lead team staff meetingsPlan and submit training sessions in alignment with the club curriculumMaintain a minimum roster of 18 playersConduct individual player and parent meetingsEnsure alignment with the club’s game model and first team philosophyWork alongside operations staff to ensure compliance and documentationAttend monthly staff meetingsQualificationsUSSF ‘C’ License (or equivalent)USSF 'B' License PreferredMinimum 3 years of coaching experienceStrong communication and leadership skillsOrganized, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindsetComfortable with digital tools (email, documents, spreadsheets)Ability to build relationships with players, parents, and staffValid driver’s license and ability to travel locallyMust pass background check and complete SafeSport & required certificationsMust be based in South Florida and eligible to work in the U.S.Bi-lingual Spanish Speakers Preferred What We ValueCommitment to long-term player developmentAlignment with a professional club structureEnergy, integrity, accountability, leadership, and proactivityA collaborative approach within a growing academy environmentIf you’re interested in being part of a professional pathway and contributing to the growth of Miami FC Academy, we’d love to hear from you.Apply by sending your resume to: academy@miamifc.com
