Family Medicine physician job in South Carolina : A healthcare services organization has a great Remote opportunity awaiting a licensed Physician in South Carolina for a Collaborating Physician role supporting advanced practice providers.About the Opportunity:Assignment Length: OngoingSpecialty: Primary CareSetting: RemoteResponsibilitiesServe as the Collaborating Physician for Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and/or Physician Assistants (PAs) practicing in South CarolinaEstablish and maintain written collaborative practice agreements in accordance with South Carolina state regulationsProvide clinical consultation and guidance to NPs and/or PAs as neededReview patient charts and documentation, and co-sign records when required by South Carolina law or organizational policyEnsure adherence to established clinical protocols and evidence-based standards of careParticipate in quality assurance and clinical oversight activitiesMaintain compliance with regulations established by the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners and other applicable South Carolina laws governing collaborative practiceQualifications:M.D. or D.O.Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residencyActive, unrestricted South Carolina Medical LicenseBoard Certified in Family MedicineDesired Qualifications:Prior experience collaborating with or supervising Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants
