The CIO will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company's technology, ensuring that it aligns with the organization's mission and is in support of the overall strategic plan. This role involves overseeing all IT services and infrastructure, including data management, artificial intelligence, and the company's ERP system. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, mentor IT staff, and lead initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of critical work processes through cost-effective technology solutions. The CIO will also be a key member of the Executive Team, advising on all aspects of the company's operations and representing the organization in professional IT networks. Applicants for the CIO position at the company should have a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 7-10 years of management experience in IT, and a proven track record of working with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, are essential. The role requires a leader with strong initiative, self-direction, and a creative, innovation-driven approach. Experience in system development, complex project management, and a background in data, automation, and AI programs is also necessary.
