OverviewRole: Oracle Developer with extensive experience in designing and implementing complex database solutions. The role requires strong PL/SQL expertise, database optimization, data modeling, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. The incumbent will mentor junior developers and contribute to DevOps-driven delivery practices.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain Oracle database applications, including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and packages.Perform data modelling, schema design, and database optimization to ensure optimal performance and scalability.Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Develop and maintain data integration processes between Oracle and other systems.Troubleshoot and debug issues; conduct code reviews and produce technical documentation.Stay up to date with the latest Oracle technologies and practices; make recommendations for continuous improvement.Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support as needed.Operate in an Agile environment following best practices of Agile Scrum and DevOps concepts (automated builds, tests, and scans).Collaborate as part of a global team to analyze and align technical solutions and strategies.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Oracle developer with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex database solutions.Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming with experience in performance tuning and optimization; ability to diagnose and resolve complex database issues, bottlenecks, and production problems.Experience with Oracle database administration tasks such as backup and recovery, user management and security.Strong understanding of good database design principles, data modelling techniques, and relational database concepts.Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.Desirable: DevOps practices, automated builds, unit/functional tests, static/dynamic scans, and regression testing.Preferred/Additional QualificationsAbility to work with limited supervision and in a global, collaborative environment.Experience with data integration across Oracle and other systems in an enterprise setting.Salary Range: $120,000 to $140,000 per yearJ-18808-Ljbffr
