This role sits within building full-stack AI systems that combine perception, autonomy, and decision-making across robot arms and mobile platforms. What you’ll actually do:Build and ship AI systems that operate in physical environments (not just offline models) Work across perception, sensor fusion, and decision-making pipelines (RGB-D, LiDAR, multi-sensor setups) Develop and deploy models for tasks like localization, manipulation, and navigation Own systems end-to-end — from data → model → deployment → real-world iteration Work directly with hardware in a 20,000+ sq ft robotics lab What matters:You’ve personally built and deployed AI systems in the real world Strong depth across modern AI/ML (not just theory or research) Experience with robotics, autonomy, or physical systems (Boston Dynamics, Amazon Robotics, etc. is the right kind of background) Comfortable working across the stack — models, data, systems, and deployment High ownership, hands-on builder mindset Environment:North Reading, MA (onsite, hands-on with robots) Real revenue and deployed systems Small, high-caliber AI team working on real industrial impact Partnerships with NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Broadcom This is not a role for someone optimizing models in isolation — it’s for engineers who want to see their systems run on real machines, in real environments, with real constraints. If that’s you (or someone you’d recommend), message me.
